We’ve grown from freight logistics into an engineering and project management consultancy. Our work connects Swiss expertise with the people delivering infrastructure across Central Asia and Eastern Europe.

What we ask of ourselves
These principles guide our work with clients and with each other. They apply as much to a tender clarification as to a decision on site.
Work as partners
International expertise needs local judgment. We work with client teams and regional specialists, agree who owns each decision, and keep questions open until the people responsible can act on the answer.
Make the technical work count
A sound design must survive procurement and construction. We connect engineering advice to tender documents and site supervision so that decisions made on paper remain workable in the field.
Take responsibility for quality
Details deserve attention. We check our work. We review the assumptions behind our work and raise problems early, including when the answer is uncomfortable. Colleagues should be able to question a calculation or ask for a second review.
Keep learning from delivery
Project experience should improve the next assignment. We share what we learn through Forlog Academy and make room for better methods when they solve a practical problem. Change has to earn its place in the work.
Plan beyond the handover
Infrastructure has to serve communities for years after construction ends. We consider operating costs and the capacity of the local team alongside the investment, helping clients make choices they can sustain.

Forlog was founded in 1997. Our responsibilities have expanded with the projects we support.

Founded for freight logistics across Russia and the CIS, Forlog helped deliver several large World Bank financed supply projects.
Rev 2.0 · 2004–2015
Strategic Transition
Moved into IFI project management, supporting World Bank and EBRD clients on infrastructure projects across the region.
